faith + cole playing scrabble in their first home together ❤️

Faith used to go over to Cole’s house and play Scrabble with his family before they even started dating. After being friends for a while, Faith realized that Cole would be “so easy to fall in love with”. And so they did. Now, we’re coming up on their one year wedding anniversary, so we decided that we should do half of the session at their first home together, and then the second at the place Cole proposed.

It was the most joyful fall day reliving some of their most precious memories.

We took a hike to the spot Cole proposed to Faith last fall, and when we got to the top, I played their wedding song and they danced in the sunshine and I fr almost shed a tear because it was simply the sweetest thing. I love love, and I love Faith and Cole. And it made me fall in love with photography all over again, because these are the kinda photos they can show their kids and grandkids someday.

Faith and Cole’s session was EXACTLY them and that’s what made it so so beautiful. It made me realize the beauty of personalizing a session and making it a documentation of their story as it was, exactly in that moment.
